VSK'S CODE OF CONDUCT

Retningslinier for god adfærd (code of conduct) i Vojens Skøjteklub.

Vi vil altid forsøge at efterleve disse adfærdskrav.

  • Vi udviser respekt for hinanden, i særlig grad for trænere og officials.
  • Vi inddrager hinanden i både leg, viden og samvær, som gode kammerater i sund konkurrence.
  • Vi forsøger at forstå andre, før vi selv kan forvente at blive forstået.
  • Vi bidrager til klubbens fælles pulje af gensidighed ved at udvise velvilje for hinanden og klubben.
  • Vi er en forening i forening, og bidrager under dette koncept til klubbens fortsatte drift og udvikling i fællesskab.

Code of Conduct er et adfærdskodeks – takt og tone – og er et grundlæggende dokument, som består af retningslinier for, hvordan en organisation, forening eller virksomhed skal drive sit virke på en etisk, social og miljømæssig korrekt måde.
Medlemmerne af Vojens skøjteklub og derfor Dansk Skøjte Union udgør en væsentlig del af dansk skøjtesport, og vi skal medvirke til, at skøjtesporten har stor troværdighed. Det stiller krav til os. Alle medlemmer skal i fællesskab tage ansvar og kæmpe for vores regler, god adfærd og vores klub.

Jeg er en del af dansk skøjtesport.
Som medlem i en skøjte forening er vi forbilleder i skøjtesporten. Vores opførsel og måden, vi præsenterer skøjtesporten både på og udenfor trænings faciliteterne, har stor betydning for, hvordan omverdenen opfatter vores sport. Vi skal foregå med et godt eksempel, følge regler og normer, og optræde som gode repræsentanter for sporten overfor hinanden.

Jeg gør, hvad jeg kan for at tiltrække flere til skøjtesport.
Vi skal alle arbejde for at trække nye interesserede ind i skøjtesporten ved at være gode ambassadører. Alle er velkomne i skøjtesporten, uanset nationalitet, etnicitet, religion, alder, køn, seksuel orientering eller fysiske og psykiske forudsætninger. Din fremtoning og din imødekommenhed kan være afgørende for, om nogen vælger at blive en del af skøjtesporten eller ej.

Jeg har en konstruktiv og respektfuld tilgang.
Vi skal ikke nødvendigvis være enige i alle de beslutninger eller domme, som træffes på isen, men vi skal forholde os til beslutningerne med respekt. Det betyder, at vi altid skal være konstruktive og ikke handle i affekt, når vi fremfører vores synspunkter. Det betyder også, at vi skal finde ud af, hvad der er fakta i et bestemt spørgsmål, inden vi udtaler os offentligt til medier, herunder også i særlig grad sociale medier. Vi kommer til tiden og træningerne med lysten til, at bidrage til et godt sammenhold og gode relationer til hinanden og trænerne.

Jeg tager ansvar og reagerer.
Vi skal alle reagere, handle og tage ansvar, hvis nogen overtræder vores fælles retningslinjer. Det gælder både på og udenfor isen. Ved at efterleve både det, vi har lært, og skøjtesporten forskellige regelsæt, medvirker vi til at fastholde skøjtesporten troværdighed. Det er en forudsætning for en attraktiv sport. Vi skal også tage ansvar og optræde korrekt med respekt og ærlighed overfor vores medlemmer i klubben, så de bevarer tilliden til og interessen for fortsat at være aktive i sporten.

Guidelines for good behavior (code of conduct) in Vojens Skøjteklub.

We will always try to comply with these behavioral requirements.

  • We show respect for each other, especially for coaches and officials.
  • We involve each other in both play, knowledge and togetherness, as friends in healthy competition.
  • We try to understand others before we can expect to be understood ourselves.
  • We contribute to the club's common pool of reciprocity by showing goodwill to each other and the club.
  • We are associated within an association, and contribute under this concept to the club's continued operations and development together.

 

The Code of Conduct is a code of conduct – tact and tone – and is a basic document which consists of guidelines for how an organisation, association or company must operate in an ethically, socially and environmentally correct manner.

The members of Vojens Skøjteklub and therefore the Danish Skøjte Union form a significant part of Danish skating, and we must contribute to figure skating having great credibility. It makes demands on us. All members must together take responsibility and fight for our rules, good behavior and our club.

I am part of Danish ice skating.
As a member of a skating association, we are role models in the sport of skating. Our behavior and the way we present the sport of skating, both in and outside the training facilities, has a great impact on how the outside world perceives our sport. We must set a good example, follow rules and norms, and act as good representatives of the sport towards each other

I do what I can to attract more people to skating.
We must all work to draw new interested parties into skating by being good ambassadors. Everyone is welcome in skating, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation or physical and psychological conditions. Your appearance and your friendliness can be decisive for whether someone chooses to become part of the sport of skating or not.

I have a constructive and respectful approach.
We do not necessarily have to agree with all the decisions or judgments that are made on the ice, but we must approach the decisions with respect. This means that we must always be constructive and not act out of emotion when we present our views. It also means that we have to find out what the facts are on a certain issue before we make a public statement to the media, including especially social media. We come to the training sessions with the desire to contribute to a good team and good relations with each other and the coaches.

I take responsibility and react.
We must all react, act and take responsibility if someone violates our shared guidelines. This applies both on and off the ice. By abiding by both what we have learned and the skating sport's various rules, we contribute to maintaining the credibility of the sport of skating. It is a prerequisite for an attractive sport. We must also take responsibility and act correctly with respect and honesty towards our members in the club, so that they maintain their trust in and interest in continuing to be active in the sport.
